Choose a location that receives full sun and has well-drained soil. The best time to sow the seeds is early spring, as
soon as the soil is workable, since the seedlings can tolerate frost.

Prepare the planting area by loosening the soil and raking it smooth to create a fine seedbed. Sow the seeds directly
into the soil about 1/4 inch deep. You can scatter them for a natural, meadow look or plant them in neat rows.

After sowing, lightly cover the seeds with soil, press down gently, and water the area well, keeping the soil moist until
the seeds germinate in about 10 days. Once seedlings have developed a few true leaves, thinning them to a final
spacing of 6 to 12 inches to allow for good air circulation and robust growth.
