Add height and elegance to your garden with Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea). Known for its tall spires of bell-shaped blossoms in shades of purple, pink, and white, this perennial brings a striking vertical accent to borders, cottage gardens, and woodland edges.  They not only enhance the landscape but also draw in pollinators. Foxglove thrives in partial sun and well-drained soil, making it both versatile and rewarding to grow. Simply scatter seeds, press them lightly into the soil, and keep consistently moist until germination. Detailed Planting Instructions

Sow foxglove seeds in early spring after frost or in fall for natural overwintering, in part sun to light shade with well-drained soil. Foxglove seeds are tiny and need light to germinate, so scatter on the surface and press in—do not bury (or cover with a dusting of soil at most). Mist or use a gentle spray to keep the surface consistently moist until sprouts appear in 10–20 days. When seedlings are 2–3 inches tall, thin or transplant (carefully) to 12–18 inches apart. Water regularly while establishing, then water when the top inch of soil dries. Foxglove is often biennial (leafy the first year, flowers the next), though some types can bloom the first year.
